How to Read Odds
Odds are a numerical expression of the potential return on your bet. Most online platforms use the decimal format, which is the easiest to understand.
Decimal Odds Example:
You place a bet of ৳500 at odds of 1.80.
Total return = ৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900
Net profit = ৳900 − ৳500 = ৳400
Implied Probability:
1 ÷ 1.80 = 0.556, which indicates a probability of approximately 55.6%.
| Format | Same Odds | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | Returns 1.8 times your stake |
| Fractional | 4/5 | Win 4 for every 5 staked |
| American (Moneyline) | -125 | Win 100 for every 125 staked |
Bankroll Management Guide
Set a Budget
Decide from the start how much money you will set aside for betting each month or week. This budget should only be money whose loss will not affect your daily life.
Divide into Sessions
Split your total bankroll into smaller sessions. For example, if you have ৳5,000, use a maximum of ৳500 per session. This reduces the risk of losing everything in a single bad day.
The 1–5% Rule Per Bet
It is best not to let any single bet exceed 1% to 5% of your total bankroll. Larger bets may bring bigger wins, but smaller stakes are more effective for keeping your bankroll going over the long term.
Stop After a Win
Once you hit a specific target, end your session for the day. Keep today's winnings as an opportunity for tomorrow.
Stop at a Loss Limit
Decide in advance how much you are willing to lose before stopping. Placing bigger bets to recover losses is the biggest mistake you can make.
Keep a Betting Record
Note the date, amount, and result of every bet. This record will help you understand which markets you perform better in and where you need to be more careful.
Fishing & Arcade Games
Hunt fish with a cannon — the bigger the fish, the bigger the reward.
Fishing games are growing in popularity in Bangladesh day by day. db9999 offers several fishing games from JILI, including Mega Fishing, All-star Fishing, Happy Fishing, and Ocean King Jackpot.
Cannon Level
Upgrading cannon power increases the chance of hitting bigger fish — but the cost per shot also goes up.
Fish Multiplier
Small fish give smaller rewards, big fish give bigger ones. Catching a boss fish gives you the highest multiplier.
Boss Fish
The special fish on screen are tough to catch, but landing one brings a big reward.
Shot Management
Keep track of the cost per shot. When no big fish are appearing, shooting at lower power is more economical.
Cricket Partnership Trends
The sponsorship culture of betting brands in the international cricket world.
In recent years, the relationship between online betting and casino brands and international cricket has grown considerably. In particular, various brands are partnering with cricket tournaments and players to reach audiences in Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka.
For example, Babu88 has partnered with the Montreal Tigers and Colombo Strikers. Crickex has done regional sponsorships at various cricket events across South Asia. JeetBuzz has appointed international player Andre Russell as a brand ambassador.
This trend shows that cricket-loving audiences in Bangladesh and South Asia have become an important market for online betting platforms. As viewership grows in leagues like BPL and IPL, this connection is deepening further.
The information above describes general industry trends — it is not a claim of any specific deal between db9999 and any team or player.
